Skywatch Friday

I went for a long walk at the dog park yesterday.

I have no idea what a lot of these trees are,

but I enjoyed looking at them all.

Till I got right in close, I thought these were ordinary green catkins.

These are either chokecherries or pin cherries. I am not sure.

This flower looks rather like a lilac, but the leaves are not even close.

Some of those seeds and early leaves are quite beautiful. I don't think we would notice these interesting details if it wasn't for macro photography. Another reason to love digital cameras.

You have captured some awesome close-up views of many buds. The birch, cherry, sumac, and maybe oak? look wonderful. I appreciate your sharing your walk. Thanks for taking me with.
Have a great weekend
