I was taking a short cut to the fruit and vegetable store, when I spotted this little tree.
It is a member of the apple family, but that is all I can tell you.
Oh, and I parked illegally to take the photos.

I giggled at the illegal parking for the photo. Who among us hasn't transgressed local parking ordinances for the perfect shot? I confess! The flowers really are lovely.
Amen! I got busted by the police and warned away for 'trespassing' on abandoned property a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately he was nice about it, and didn't get a ticket.
Love the petals - the way the center looks like a star.
