Flowering Kale

After the Christmas rain,

there were some ice crsytals

formed on the flowering kale.

I love the way this plant is winterhardy, so we can have some colour in the dark months.

Wow, it is beautiful. The ice crystals sparkle like jewels on the purple leaves. Great shots.

Love the diamond glazing on the kale, Judy. I like that there are still some flowers in winter. :o) We have TONS of the white frosting here at the moment, and it's -20 C today!

Around here it wouldn't be under snow, but it would be floating away in the rain. Sigh.
