The main event is always in the west, but sometimes the east has lovely delicate colours.

I love the tree against the sky in the first one. The lighting in the second one makes it look like a painting! Very nice.
I like your picture of the eastern sky at sunset. I also like the sentinel pine in the first picture.
I've always marveled at winter's delicate sky art in the midst of such an extreme season. Nature's balance. Beautiful.
