Today's Flowers

This plant is called club moss, and is common enough in the woods.

I am assuming these are the flowers, because they are attached to the leaves, not because they look like flowers.

They look like they are flowers. If not, well, then they should be! Beautiful pictures. The plant may be common, but too few people stop to actually look at them and see their beauty.

They are really beautiful, they look like feathers on dancer costumes in old musicals.
I also enjoyed your post about the beaver and the birch....
