I like the delicate colours of the sunrise, and the way the sun catches the branches of the spruce tree.

 

After the Storm

This storm did not bring a lot of snow,

 but there was enough.

The blue skies came later.

Watery Wednesday

Remember the day of fog, a couple of weeks ago?

I took photos of the raindrops as well.

Raindrops on trees, and raindrops falling into puddles.

But I was very careful to stay out of the puddles, since there was ice at the bottom of all of them.

Skywatch Friday

This is a selection of trees from the last few weeks.

Many kinds of trees, and many colours of leaves.

Sometimes, no leaves at all.

Sometimes, the skies have been cloudy,

and sometimes they have been blue.

Autumn Colour

Have you ever seen a spruce tree change colour in the fall? This one has Virginia creeper all through it, so it makes for an interesting display.

Every branch on this sumac was a different colour! it was so hard choosing which photo to show you!

I have no idea what sort of a tree this is, but there are a lot of them around. I especially liked the golden leaves which caught the sun, against the darker storm clouds.
