Raspberry

My raspberries are ready, at least. I cut the canes down every fall, as it seems to encourage more berries to set, but they are later in the year than when you let the canes overwinter.

Fantastic website, I had not noticed lilacgate.blogspot.com previously during my searches!
Carry on the good work!

I'll bet the berries taste even better since you had to wait longer for them.

mmm... all the more joy for the wait! We've just eaten the last of ours. We cut our canes in the fall too--and do get more berries this way. We don't mind the wait, either. Happy Day, Judy ((HUGS))

Judy this is one luscious berry! Raspberries are my favorites but this is the berry that does not grow in my garden. I usually buy them frozen from NewZealand. The picture is absolutely perfect.

Yummy image! I was interested to learn you cut your canes. My raspberries are usually ready by mid-July.
