Macro Flowers Saturday

I am not sure if these are zucchini blossoms, or another member of the squash family.

Someone planted a little garden beside the bike path, including several of these plants.

I had never realized how hairy the inside of the blossoms can be.

The second shot is stunning - the way the light hits the flower - it seems to glow. Even the little beetle is enjoying the show!
