Watery Wednesday

The stream has running water, although it has a skin of ice on top.

In the upper right corner you can see a couple of ducks, working at keeping the water open.

The ice gives an interesting effect to the reflection of the spruce tree, and to the golden sunrise.

Lovely shots. It's a very hard time for ducks and other birds in my country. We are breaking all records regarding cold and snow.

Love your pictures! I always wish to see snow and streams like that for myself, but the snow is never heavy enough here.
