Brilliant and rich colors. And you have a name for her. Sweet.
One of my favorite plants, the Amaryllis! She is a beauty! Great shots!
She is gorgeous and vibrant. How splendid that she has a name!
She blushes like me when the cold brushes my cheeks. :)
Lovely shots and so are the ones of her below.
great color, great photos! flowers look so neat in the snow!
Such a differnece the change in light makes. I love the last shot
real outdoor light, against light bulb light - can't beat it! Thanks for dropping by our place. xx Darcy, Bing and Helen
Just BEAUTIFUL ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
Wow. That is really gorgeous. It is sensual, too, that warmth against the snow.
Hi Judy
Your Amaryllis is very beautiful. A lovely colour and I love the texture of the petals too.
Re your question about Kangaroo Paw, this one grows to 80 cms / 31 inches, but there are smaller varieties. I have seen it in blog pics of the US, so you might be able to get it in Canada...
I want to touch, and feel how soft it is, very lovely Judy.
BTW yes we can grow orchids out of the house but on a shaded area.
The flower is so beautiful!I've never seen amaryllis a few layer like this, mostly here only one layer.
Wonderful shot and an amazing Amaryllis bloom.
That salmon-pink is GORGEOUS against the pure white snow...The color really "pops" against that white--beautiful, Judy! :o) Happy Week ((HUGS))
Hello Judy,
