Redwing Blackbirds

We walked beside the marsh today, and the redwings have come back.

I know these are not the greatest photos, but the best I could do with my little point'n'shoot.

Hi :)

Greetings:)

I found the first two photos interesting because although there is snow on the ground, the weeds\grass look brown and dried up. I don't understand how this can be! I suppose nature's ways are mysterious.

The third photo is also interesting to see the bird silhouetted against light blue background. The bird looks lonely and sad as though waiting for some one.

Many thanks for sharing :)

Wish you a wonderful day :)

I can just hear the bird in the last picture! Red-winged blackbirds are an earlier sign of spring than Robins, for sure!

I actually love these photos very much. The first is like a beautiful painting with its soft, musing colours.
