First Snow

Ottawa woke to the first snow of the winter.

 And I kind of went overboard

 capturing it

 on plants and boulders.

Snow on the Branches

The snow fell during the night,

 and the sun cast its light on the pine branches in the morning.

 

Rainy Day

Our walk this morning was delayed

 till the ice had a chance to melt

 off the sidewalks.

 

Watery Wednesday

One foggy morning,

I was admiring the spiderwebs, covered in water droplets.

Sunrise

This time of year, you have to enjoy any signs of colour you can find.

The sunrises are so delicate!

Pine

Frost coated the pine needles and cones early in the morning.

But later in the day,

the frost was gone.
