Grass and Sunlight

Last summer, when the grass was in bloom,

the morning sun limned everything with gold.

Sunlight and Snow

I am happy that my gate faces the south, so I can see the sunlight coming through the snow which the gate has captured!!

Bottle and Asters

We have sun today, so I was working in that,

but still with still life.

This series is an old medicine bottle, and a few aster seed heads.

I am away, visiting my Mom for a few days, but I have left posts to appear magically without me.

Nasturtiums

These nasturtiums are peeking through the fence

and the sunlight comes through them.

 

Today's Flowers

I have no idea what sort of a plant this is, but I love the way the early morning sunlight is shining through it, and catching the spider web.

Fleabane

This patch of fleabane fascinated me,

the way the sunlight flowed through the petals, and caught the spiderwebs.

Catch the Light

The sunlight coming through the glass panel in the front door struck the wall.

Not all that interesting, I agree.

But I played with the contrast a bit, and it looks much better!!
