Clouds

After days of blazing blue skies, clouds are a welcome relief.

Cow Parsnip at Dawn

Another freezing rain storm, but the morning after was clear,

and I could capture the ice against the sunrise. I took these shots between 7:15 and 7:45 AM, so it's not too early.

 I like the way the sun catches in the ice, and sparkles.

Frost at Dawn

I delayed our walk till the sun was well and truly above the horizon,

 and was rewarded with frost crystals covering everything.

 These are cow parsnip seed heads that the birds have left bare.

 

Summer

I am playing in the archives today, because the precipitation is some form of freezing rain, and I had to stay home from work because the dog has the runs.

 The archives are a much nicer place to be...

I took the camera for a walk after the rain stopped.

 There were raindrops everywhere,
