October Morning

There was fog on the river this morning,
till the sun came over the horizon.
Then everything was golden.

Dawn Geese

I was walking beside the pond, when these geese rose from the river, where they could not see me over the cattails. Good thing they are noisy when they are preparing to take off, so I was prepared for them...

Geese Rising into the Fog

It was early in the morning,
and the geese were setting out to find breakfast.
I love the embossed effect of these photos!

Paths through the Fog

Why do paths look so much more interesting in the fog?

Another foggy morning, with the dew
settled heavily on the branches of the sweet clover,

Foggy Morning

The sun rose over the houses,
 and cast its golden light

Foggy Morning

I love a foggy morning,
and the way everything fades into the greyness.

Spiderwebs

Wednesday was a lovely foggy morning,
 and the spiderwebs were all
 covered with jewels of dew!
The 75 captures in the field
 have boiled down to 30
 in the computer,
 but how to choose
only a few to share with you...

Misty Mornings

We have been having some foggy mornings,
so I have been taking a lot of photos of them.
I love the way the trees loom
 out of the mist.

Red Barn

This barn is within walking distance of the house,
so I have been watching it in all lights,
and in the fog, with a swirl of ducks...

Skywatch Friday

It was sunrise, and a bit foggy, so the skies were orange, to both the east and the west.
