Flowering Crabapple Tree

Most of the flowers are spent,

but the sun streaming through the leaves is magical.

I especially like the shadow this former flower

casts against the leaf.

I wish the crab apple trees would flower longer. Its so breathtaking to watch. I love the play of shadows in your pictures.
