For a change, I photographed the irises against the blue sky (and the flowering crabapple tree).
Changes my whole idea of "iris"!

Beautiful detail and lovely crisp textures.
By the way, I was in fact squatting on the ground looking up towards the sky when I shot that sunflower. Glory just wasn't meant to be today. I should have gone a week ago.
