Blue Bead Lily

This is another new wildflower, to me.

It is called the blue bead lily.

When the seedpods are ripe, according to the book, they will be bright blue.

Great capture. No bugs your way?! I was out at the cranberry bog and the blackflies were horrible. Mosquitoes bad at home...

I'm so glad you explained the 'blue bead' part - I was looking for something blue in the pictures and didn't see a thing! I hope you can capture it when it appears!

What a unique looking plant. You don't see many green flowers. Pretty though
