A couple of large families of mallards,
all taking their morning ablutions.
I especially like this little fellow demonstrating the correct face washing technique!
It is so important for them to keep their feathers in good condition.

I had ducks as pets ... long story.
oh they look so cute...
they're really fun to watch...i often saw some wild ducks too when I was a young kid..and looking at your photos make me homesick...and strangely happy...now why is that?
