Where do you live that you have turtles ?
How interesting. I hope no other predator finds her eggs. I'm not fond of the snapping turtles but I wish them all well.

Goodness! Do you really have turtles in the wild. That is neat. Quite envious about that. Great set of photos too.
How cool is that! That is something I would LOVE to see!
That's a big one - ours is just a handful! You were wise to tie up the dogs. Our snapper, "Patch" (blind in one eye), likes to lay low, too.
Their jaws are incredible. We don't bother ours, and it doesn't bother us. Cycle of life and all that. Nice shots.
Great pictures of the turtle. I'm glad you were able to protect your dogs while getting the pictures.
