Catch the Light

The sunlight coming through the glass panel in the front door struck the wall.

Not all that interesting, I agree.

But I played with the contrast a bit, and it looks much better!!

Milkweed and Dewdrops

There was rain in the afternoon, till after dark, so I am not sure if these are dew drops, or rain drops.

Peony Pods

The peony blossoms are a memory till next spring, but the pods are still here.

Damselfly

I love watching the dragonflies, but I find they never sit still long enough for me to capture them.

This fellow was willing to sit on a stalk of sweet clover long enough for me to get half a dozen images.

Lambs Ears

Lambs ears are such odd looking plants in general, but when they bloom,

they just look like aliens...

Birdsfoot Trefoil

A couple of the nice things about walking first thing in the morning are the dew, and the low angle of the sun, shining through the petals of the flowers.

Of course, you have to get right down low, to get the sun shining through the birdsfoot trefoil blossoms...

Hoya

Morning Glory and Grass

There are some morning glories growing in the grass beside the path,

and I love watching the vines creep up around the grass.

It's just something about the straight lines of the grass stalks, and the curves of the vines...

 

Abstract

You take a glass bowl with some paint speckles, and some peony petals, and what do you get?

Milkweed

I have been saving up a month of milkweed images,

waiting for the buds to develop and the blossoms open.

Now the fields smell so sweet!!!
