The morning glories are blooming in my archives this week.
I love the way the buds unfurl!

Morning Glory

There's a patch of morning glories along the creek,
and the only thing they have to climb is the grass.
I love seeing the vines wind their way around the stalks of grass.

Stop in and have a look!

Morning Glory

There are still morning glories blooming -
or there were, on Monday, when I set up all these posts.
The edges are a bit ragged, and they are half the size of summer blossoms,
but they are blooming!!

Morning Glory

There is a patch of morning glories in the ditch
beside one of the paths I walk regularly.
I have to take photos of it, just as regularly...
I love the spiral shape of the buds.
Something about the purity of the white allows the textures to become more visible.

Morning Glory and Grass

There are some morning glories growing in the grass beside the path,
and I love watching the vines creep up around the grass.
It's just something about the straight lines of the grass stalks, and the curves of the vines...

Still Life

I have been playing with still lifes,
and these are a few of the shots I like the best.
 What do you think?

Friday's Fences

I love the way the morning glories have almost buried this fence!
To see more fences, visit Jan and Jer.

Morning Glories in the Rain

The morning glory blossoms appear too fragile
to bear the weight of the raindrops.

Morning Glories

I love the way a morning glory opens

 to the new day.
I don't know why this poor blossom was so beat up,
but maybe the beighbouring bloom was crying for it.

Aunt Elizabeth's Morning Glories

Aunt Elizabeth would rather have the regular Heavenly Blue morning glories,
but I love the colour of these.

The morning glories are opening later in the day now.
 I like watching them unfurl.

Morning Glory

The morning glories are still blooming in my garden.

I like the shadow of the borage bud on the last blossom.
