Friday's Fences

This fence was put in place
 a long time ago.
Long enough that the tree is growing around the wire.
To see more fences, visit Jan and Jer.

You're right - that fence has been there a long time - I love the way the tree has grown around the barbed wire. I wish I was so resilient to what irritated me!!!

This is what happens with time. Our old bell is now a part of the tree from where we hung it 33 years ago. In I am so glad that these objects do not end up hurting the trees. genie

I especially love when fence builders make the fence run around a tree or adjust the line so tree won't be damaged. Then they just peacefully grow together.
