Jacob's Ladder

This little plant is cute, and has an interesting name. (Is that important to anyone else, or is it just me?)
It is called Jacob's ladder.
This species is an Arctic plant, so that explains the size.

The flower is lovely, no doubt but I think I notice buds in the last picture and they are awesome

It is a beautiful flower, and lovely color. The first time I heard the name, I was very taken by it too :-)

Pretty! The name reminds me of the song climbing Jacob's Ladder that we used to sing in Sunday school when I was little.

Everytime I visit your blog I fell sad that lilac season is over, but then I see the wonderful flowers you have found! Love the Datura, too.
