Friday's Fences

What wild grapes can do,
Virginia creeper can do better...
Although I have no idea how it got to a fencerow out in the middle of nowhere...

The wild grape tendrils imitate the barbed wire! Nice shots with great color.

That Virginia Creeper has a way of creeping up everywhere.
I like what Donna said about the tendrils imitating the wire - pretty cool.

These are great photos. It's amazing how those tendrils can wrap around so tightly. Blessings, Pamela

Great shots of the vines wrapping around the fence.

Lovely photographs - age and youth, one man-made, the other free to grow and ramble.

Hi there - nice pictures - It’s a really nice example of how plants can react to their environment. It’s not something that most people seem to think they can do.

Love the first shot! Great composition, and a beautiful contrast and texture in the soft organic plant and the hard rusty fence.
