I love the ephemeral nature of buttercups,
the way they toss in the slightest breeze,
not to mention their cheery colour!

These Buttercups take me back to my childhood. I think that it is one of the first of the flowers' names that I learned.

I miss buttercups! I grew up in upstate NY were there where fields of buttercups. Rarely see them where I live now.
