This pair of mallards were standing in one of the ornamental ponds, arranging their feathers.
They were not too concerned about me, if I stayed at least four feet away from them.

Interesting duck postures. I like the one purple flower (iris, if I'm not mistaken?) in the foreground of the last shot
They really don't seem to upset at having you watch them preening ... and I also noticed the beautiful iris in the foreground of the last two shots - a wonderful touch!!!
