I noticed these webs all through the long grass in the meadow this morning.
I have never seen this sort of a web before.
Very different from the orb spider's neat rings that we are so familiar with.

I imagine lace weaved by fairies and sprinkled with fairy dust. :)
More romantic than spiders I think.
Love the webs--we used to see those in the Alleghenies--"grass spiders." Note the tunnel.
i love spiders! When i was small i used to walk in the garden and collect them :)
