Now, while the picture is perfectly captured, here's one good benefit in those corn hair. When boiled or concocted, it makes a good drink for those who have bladder problem or kidney problems. Only the water that is being boiled by it, not the corn hair...You can't drink the hair can you? Seriously.
Beautiful shots of the corn hair, and I learn something from Bonnie's comment. Very interesting.

Never thought about flowering corn when I drive by large field.
