Red Barn

This barn is within walking distance of the house,
so I have been watching it in all lights,
and in the fog, with a swirl of ducks...

Watery Wednesday

There are a lot of icicles on the old barn.
It is hard to capture both the sunlit icicle and the shadowed wood.
I like the light refracted through the ice and cast onto the barn,
and the shapes the icicles take, following the brances.

Barn

If you look closely, you can see the south wall of this old barn has mostly fallen apart.
Looking through the barn, the sun appears to be lower than it actually was.

Barn

This barn doesn't look too bad from some angles,
 but it is falling apart...

Old Windows

While I was in the house at Pinhey's Point, I was trying to capture the flowing of the glass in the windows.
I got a bit in these two, but none of the others.
Here is a different view of the stone walls, and the kitchen, which was removed from the house because of the danger of fire.
The front of the house looks toward the Ottawa River,
and the side toward the barn.
If my mother had been there, she would have commented on the window cleaning skills of the workers...

Barn

I stopped at the side of the road so I could capture
 this old barn.

Skywatch Friday

This tree with a crooked branch was beside a country road.
