Today's Flowers

At the college, I found a large mat

 of thyme in full bloom.

 The tiny blossoms were accented with a bit of hop clover.

Thyme

Thyme blossoms are so tiny, but 

 they carpet the ground.

 

Frost

There was frost when I woke this morning.

In the sun, it was melting rapidly,

but in the shade, there were white crystals

coating all the leaves, and the roofs.

Frost on the Fallen Leaves

The thyme leaves are still green,

although all the leaves

have fallen off the trees now.

The frost and the shadows still animate them!
