Love these !!!
I grew up with some in my back yard. I need to go buy some for this one. Living in the woods, I have trouble with anything growing here. Too much moss and slugs and things like that .. oh and dogs too.

Nice find! Wonder if they're an old traditional variety? I've only ever seen the big flag irises or the mid-sized wild meadow variety.
