Tuesday, we had a winter storm warning, with freezing rain
and snow. Turns out there was not so much snow,
but the rain froze on the branches and everything.
The morning light show was wonderful!!

Wow - that golden light is as sweet as honey!
Beautiful photos of this beautiful place with a delightful atmosphere in winter, excellent light and tones.
That is a beauty one can only get in the winter, it seems. Gorgeous.

Weather does feel like it's a changin'. La Nina might get here, after all.
PS: the range of microclimates, elevation change and rain shadows here mean that you can go from 2 feet of snow to bare ground in just a few miles.
Wonderful series of shots and the light in that last one is just beautiful!
