Now that it is July, the black eyed Susans have started to bloom. They were my grandmother's favourite flower, so I look for them every year.

I forgot to answer you question about my photo. It's a kind of lichen growing on trees.
They are very beautiful. I love the contrast between the yellow petals and the dark brown center.
