Black eyed susans were my grandmother's favourite flower.
I look for them every year.
This cluster of blossoms looks so interesting with the delicate grass on them.

Beautiful photos of a very attractive flower. We have lots of these around here, mostly on the edges of woods, and I'm always delighted to see them bloom.

They are one of my favorites too--and they bloom for a long time. I wouldn't want to be without a couple patches every summer.
