More Skeins of Geese

I am still watching the geese
in the mornings,
approaching their feeding grounds for the day.
They are gleaning the fields after the soybean and corn harvests.

Skywatch Friday

Earlier this week, I was fascinated with the walking sentinels in the early morning light.

The Moon

I have been taking photos of the moon all week.
I love seeing it during the day,
especially when it is tangled in the branches of the trees.

Clover

There is still some clover blooming.

Sunflowers

I have not seen many sunflowers this year,

in fact, this was the only patch I found in bloom.

So I am posting a selection of them, and a heart for Clytie,
 before winter overtakes us again.

Watery Wednesday

Captures from last month's fog, with goldenrod, and some reflections.

Experiment

I have no idea
what I did with the camera
 to get these captures,
and I have debated for a month
before posting them.
Please let me know
 what you think...

Hydrangea Reflections

Last month,
this hydrangea leaning over a small pool
 lost blossoms in the storm.
I love the fallen flower heads
 and their reflections.

Milkweed and Hydro Pylons

I love the early morning light on the milkweed seeds,
the way the sunlight catches each thread of fluff!

Geese

Maybe not the best captures,
but the best take-off photos I have gotten.
