I am away, visiting my Mom for a few days, but I have left posts to appear magically without me.

On Monday, Woodstock received more than 2 inches of rain

 so the flowers were all wet

 Tuesday morning.

I was looking at these hosta blossoms, 

 when a bee came along to admire them, too.

 Have you ever noticed how fast a bee moves?

This one is my favourite shot - climbing out of the bud!

Watery Wednesday

This is the porch at Loucks' Farm where we sheltered from a thundershower. Dogs are not allowed in the buildings.

I got lots of photos of raindrops - on hosta flowers,

falling on the hired man's house and the garden,

and on the apple tree.
