Mississippi River

Last week, I got to Almonte, on the Mississippi River,
to capture some of the ice formations.

Wow, so many ice! Great photos, my favorite is the first, it shines so golden in the light... and #3 - that's a great detail

Rivers can sculp ice like no other, but it takes a good eye to find and photograph it so beautifully. Nice post, Judy ... and yes, it looks very cold, but still beautiful.

I have some trouble connecting the Mississippi river with ice. :) But your images clearly shows it :)
