Abstract Lichen

This patch of lichen on the granite caught my eye, but the original photo was not as interesting as I had hoped, so I played with the colours. I think this version is better.

funny that i choose the original, i am a rebel!! no, not really, my eye always seems to gravitate to the natural image. i'm not sure why!!

I agree that the color perks it up ... but as an avid blue and green fan, I think I would have left the lichen it's beautiful natural green.

I, too, prefer your color change. That's one great thing about abstracts, you can make anything any color you want.

Nice! A great subject for abstract art. :) Both are great but for today I like the orange one.

The original is art in its self, the opposite colors look lovely also!

Nice edit! I think the lichen stands out better in the edited version. But both are lovely abstracts!
