Bees in the Chicory

This morning, I was watching a bee in the chicory blossoms,
and marveling at her coating of pollen!

These bees are certainly pollen laden.I'm so pleased that there are many around this year.....but very few butterflies.

That big bad bee. lol. Sometimes I feel so bad for the flower, even though I know it is a good thing the bee is doing. :-)
