Spider Flower

I took a lot of photos of the cleome
when I was at the college garden.
It is such an odd looking flower,
but this is the first I have actually looked
at the shapes of the actual florets,
 and the way they open.

What an interesting and wonderful flower! I love how you caught the sequence of these flowers bursting open - I've never seen anything like this!

This is a very unusual flower. Great series! Lovely photos. Really like the header photo, too.

Unique as far as the design goes.

Very nice closeups of cleome! Now I wish I had some in my gardens this year so I could try to duplicate yours. :))

These are odd-looking blossoms, but I rather like them. Your macros are wonderful.
