Sanseveria

 Back to the flower show at the college, this large plant was blooming.
 I think it is a sanseveria, but I am not sure.
It is certainly interesting...

Lovely photos and fantastic flower. It isn't sansiviera, which is a tall waxy, spiky green leaved plant with yellow edges, called snake plant. I think yours is a bromeliad in bloom. I worked in a greenhouse that grew ferns and exotics and a few plant names have stuck in my head. Thanks for sharing the lovely with us.
