Fernleaf Peony

Because the fernleaf peony was blooming so much earlier than the others, it has already gone to seed. I noticed that the seedpods are fuzzy!

I dropped in to the college, to check out the gardens,

and there are peonies blooming already!

This is the fern leaf peony.

I have never seen it in bloom before.
