Many years ago, this plate was used as the base of a sign.
For as long as I can remember it has been lying in the tall grass and weeds.
But with a bit of ice and a sunny day, it looks quite attractive...

Bit of a mystery, such artifacts. Looks like someone cut the hole with an acetylene torch. Wonder why?
