Corn Speedwell

At least, I think this is corn speedwell. I was photographing something else, when I noticed this tiny plant.
 Too small to see from a standing position, it was growing on the large rock faces which have been covered with moss, in the sun.
 My book says it can become 16 inches tall, and try to take over the world, but I did not see any in the grasses beside the rock.

There is so much beauty to be seen in even the humblest of weeds, if only we take the tie to look closely!

I'm so glad I saw this. I took a pic of some of this in my daughter's yard last week. Had no idea what it was.
