Watery Wednesday

More photos from Lake Ontario.
 Where you have waves in winter, you have icicles.
 A wonderful combination.
 What fascinated me,
 was the sand trapped in the ice.

The icicles look sooo familiar. :) Is it my imagination or are there more icicles this year than last?

Very cool! No pun intended. I have also wondered at the sand in the ice.

The lake sure looks cold, but the pictures are wonderful. I do like the icicles.

That's interesting, the sand caught in the icicles. Nice images, but they make me feel cold! I really like #3 with the wave action coming in close.

these icicles used to hang down from the washing line when I was flatting in Windsor.

Hi Judy,
Seeing the waves and the icicles together is seeing your January. I can hear the waves and feel the cold....a wabi sabi sort of experience. Thank you.
Stay warm,
Sherry

WATER

Water in a drop of rain,
Water swirling down the drain;
Water clinging to the trees,
Water filling up the seas;
Water frozen, water free,
Water is the stuff for me!
