Daylilies

These daylilies never got a chance to bloom
 before the weather got too cold.

Yes, winter is upon us. Temperatures in the 20s are forcast for the Sacramento Valley tonight. That is cold for us and I had best cover my citrus. Our local Mandarin growers may be in trouble.

Lovely the drops hanging on to the never opened petals. Next summer they have an other chance.
