Watery Wednesday

Another misty morning, looking over a pond.

Reminds me of a poem I used to recite for my daughters -
One misty, moisty morning,
when cloudy was the weather,
I chanced to meet an old man
clothed all in leather.
He began to compliment
and I began to grin
How de do, how de do,
and how de do again.

Serene and tranquil scenes. Thanks for the reminder of the poem. I believe my grandmother used to recite that one.

We've had quite a few misty mornings lately. I've never noticed so many before but lately I have been trying to capture photos of the sun rising. I think mist makes beautiful photos, especially over water.

Wow, those photos are just beautiful! I also love the name of your blog with the lilac blossom photo! I just love lilacs! I grew up with a bunch of lilac bushes in the back yard! I always thought they smelled heavenly every spring when the blossomed!
