Apology

I want to apologize for abandoning you,

but I was so close to burn-out that I did not have anything to give.

But three days of no school (yes, I have homework, but not till the end of this week), I am feeling human again.

I captured this nepeta blossom the first week of November.

Nepeta

The nepeta, or cat mint, 

 in my garden is still green

and was blooming till the temperatures 

 stayed below freezing all day.

 

Today's Flowers

We have had frost, but I still have a few flowers blooming

 in my garden.

Sprouts

I spent a few minutes in the garden,

 seeing what had poked its head above ground.

 There are lots of tiny leaves,

 reaching for the sun.
