Cranesbill

Cranesbill images from last summer
I love the way the blossoms change with age.
I managed to capture a bee, too.
I am linking this post with NF Blo-Ma.

Cranesbill

I only have one type of cranesbill in my garden. I wish I had a couple more...
I am linking this with Nature Footstep Blo-Ma.

Cranesbill

The cranesbill, or perennial geranium,
is still blooming in my garden.
The centre is similar to that of a pelargonium, or regular geranium.

Cranesbill

This little flower seems to be weighted down by all the raindrops.

Cranesbill

The cranesbill, or perennial geranium,
 is blooming.
I love the veins in the petals.

Cranesbill

The cransbill, or perennial geranium, is still blooming away at the college gardens.

The blue blossoms tend to fade to pink as they age. I think.

I was standing with the blossoms between me and the sun, and I love the effect. Maybe someone could explain to me how these little gems were boring?

Cranesbill

This perennial geranium is called Claridge Druce.

I like the contrasting darker pink lines through the petals.

This blue variety was not labeled.
